At Mud Creek we are constantly looking for ways to leverage culture. Halloween is cultural event that can be used to engage people with the Gospel. Our vision is to see thousands of people pour onto the Mud Creek campus on Oct. 30th and to discover that Jesus is more than a treat.
Trunk & Treat has been an annual event here for years. In this event Trunk Host line their decorated cars up and kids come by and get candy. We place a clear presentation of the gospel in every bag along with information about our church. It is the second largest outreach event we do behind our Christmas pageant.
Every year it has grown and our church and community have bought into the alternative. Last year there were approximately 2,500 people at this event. These numbers produced a couple of broad limiting factors…

· Gospel intentionality
The 2008 flow chart (click on image above for larger view) and the greatest ministry team in the world should help resolve these issues.
