Great weekend! Largest crowd ever at Mud Creek…
Pastor Greg preached one of the greatest messages on the empty tomb that I've ever heard. Chris Roberts lead the choir and orchestra in the Hallelujah chorus that deserves a view on our VOD. The most important thing, people's lives where changed forever! I'm getting reports now of how lives were changed for eternity.
The transition from SNC on Sat. to SNC on Sun went very smooth. The crowd was good especially for Easter Sun. night. Hey, it was the largest crowd we have ever had on Sun. night! We've never had an Easter Sun. pm service before. I was amazed at how many people came because their church took "off" that Sun. pm.
I've got to mention that a kid brought a bushel basket (like you put peaches in) to the Easter Egg Hunt. It was all he could do to carry it. Funny stuff… Two of our staff kids, to remain nameless, found a crawdad in the creek that runs through our family park. They decided to put it in an Easter egg and hide it with the others. Needless to say one family got an Easter surprise! Hilarious...
This past Easter for me was about the greatest story ever told, family, friends, new life and taking big risk (shifting SNC). The empty tomb made all that possible. Just a reminder, it is still empty! My passion is renewed to take even more risks, see more lives changed, be a better friend, love my family more and continue to teach and preach the greatest story ever told!
