There is a line in a movie that states, "life isn't measured by how many breath you take but by how many moments take your breath away." (Someone help me with the movie title) It isn’t often that I have one of those moments. It happened this morning. Pastor Greg was reading the Christmas Story to Hope Academy this morning. Hope Academy consists of youth and young adults with special needs here in Hendersonville. Betty Edwards and Peggy Allen lead this dynamic ministry. They gave the students and opportunity to ask pastor questions, talk about Christmas and give prayer request.
· One young lady that is laid back in a wheel chair asked, “Preacher, will I really be able to walk in Heaven?” Wow!
· Another young lady that could not even left her head asked, “Preacher will you pray I have a better attitude.” Wow!
· A young man that was really concentrating on the meaning of Christmas said, “Giving.” Wow!
I truly had one of those moments and wanted to share it with you.
