Death is a reality. Most people are reminded of death every few years. The lose of a distant relative or friend reminds you that death is real. Being a pastor I'm reminded about twice a month.
As I write this post I'm sitting in a graveyard watching a family walk away from a coffin. There are tears, hugs and banking of memories. One day people will turn and walk away from my coffin. What will be their remembrances of my existence?
Was I involved in investing in the things of God?
Did I live a life of transparency and participate in the lives of others?
Was I practicing spiritual disciplines?
Did I use my gifts to serve God and others?
Let's lives ours lives today in such a way that death is a reality. What will people remember about you?
